(04) Triángulo

TriÁngulo combines three angles of mental, physical, and social health in its holistic approach to support general well-being. Through this approach, the design aims to promote experiences of rest, exercise, and play. Middle school-aged kids participated in co-designing this proposal for future users through a series of hands-on “mesas de trabajo” or working tables. By drawing and painting the map of CIDeSES with graffiti, the kids created their mental map of the center, highlighting the spaces best suited for the structure. Shapes and uses were explored by model building using modular sticks and balls. Dialogues sparked during the working tables and provided us with further knowledge that everyone shares a few couches at the entrance and by the music room to sit. We discussed how individual personalities play into the use of a shared space.
