(01) Space to Hang

In collaboration with the Roskilde Festival Circular Lab, Hangin embarked on its first pilot project, prototyping and testing potential designs with the 130,000 temporary inhabitants of the music festival tent city. This was accomplished through a constant dialogue with festival goers, providing feedback and learning moments that improved the design. This iterative workshop model was reflected in the modular material of steel rods and joints which allowed the design to change to needs of users. Different demographics of the festival users prioritised different design elements and these priorities changed throughout the duration of the festival.
